# AI spoon vs Slica

The clearest difference is update cadence: AI spoon at every 4 days against Slica's every 6 weeks. AI spoon also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI spoon sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Slica sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
