# Harvest Right vs HiveDiary

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Harvest Right at none against HiveDiary's 3. Harvest Right also leads on ratings volume (2.6K vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). HiveDiary's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HiveDiary sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Harvest Right asks for nothing beyond the download.

HiveDiary holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Harvest Right has 2.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Harvest Right ships an update every 3 weeks, HiveDiary weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
