# OTA upgrade vs FixSense

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: OTA upgrade at none against FixSense's 6. OTA upgrade also leads on iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.1). FixSense's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FixSense sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. OTA upgrade asks for nothing beyond the download.

OTA upgrade ships an update every 2 months, FixSense every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
