# Шагомер vs Steppy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Шагомер at 67% against Steppy's 0%. Шагомер also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (103 vs 3). Steppy's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Шагомер sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month and Steppy sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Steppy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Шагомер has 103 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Шагомер's written reviews are positive against 0% of Steppy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Шагомер ships an update every 3 months, Steppy every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
