# VerseCAST vs Preach

The clearest difference is review sentiment: VerseCAST at 100% against Preach's 80%. VerseCAST also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). Preach's advantage is ratings volume (177 vs 6) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VerseCAST sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Preach sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VerseCAST holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Preach has 177 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of VerseCAST's written reviews are positive against 80% of Preach's.

VerseCAST ships an update every 5 weeks, Preach every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
