# Project LeanNation vs Cross Conditioning Training

The clearest difference is monetization model: Cross Conditioning Training at free against Project LeanNation's free with in-app purchases. Project LeanNation's advantage is ratings volume (402 vs 3) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Project LeanNation against 5.0 for Cross Conditioning Training. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Project LeanNation has 402 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Project LeanNation ships an update fortnightly, Cross Conditioning Training every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
