# Shroom Guard vs Kitty Keep™

The clearest difference is rating: Kitty Keep™ at 4.9 against Shroom Guard's 4.1. Kitty Keep™ also leads on review sentiment (96% vs 67%) and ratings volume (4.5K vs 39). Shroom Guard's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shroom Guard sells 54 one-off in-app purchases and Kitty Keep™ sells 32 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kitty Keep™ holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kitty Keep™ has 4.5K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of Shroom Guard's written reviews are positive against 96% of Kitty Keep™'s.

Shroom Guard ships an update weekly, Kitty Keep™ fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
