# FOUR vs CloverView

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: CloverView at none against FOUR's 1. CloverView also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). FOUR's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (54 vs 3). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FOUR sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. CloverView asks for nothing beyond the download.

FOUR holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FOUR has 54 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FOUR ships an update monthly, CloverView every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
