# Fit vs Academies

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Academies at none against Fit's 6. Fit's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fit sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Academies asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fit ships an update every 9 days, Academies every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
