# DERM vs NFC

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DERM at none against NFC's 2. DERM also leads on ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NFC sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. DERM asks for nothing beyond the download.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
