# Free2move Charge vs ChargeSmart EV (CSEV)

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ChargeSmart EV (CSEV) at 63% against Free2move Charge's 13%. Free2move Charge's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.2) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Free2move Charge holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Free2move Charge has 926 ratings behind it against 182, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Free2move Charge's written reviews are positive against 63% of ChargeSmart EV (CSEV)'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Free2move Charge ships an update every 6 weeks, ChargeSmart EV (CSEV) every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
