# Piano Widget vs Opus Great

The clearest difference is update cadence: Piano Widget at every 3 days against Opus Great's every 7 months. Piano Widget also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (67 vs 2). Opus Great's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Piano Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Opus Great sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Opus Great holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Piano Widget has 67 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Piano Widget ships an update every 3 days, Opus Great every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
