# Joyhub vs KOT

The clearest difference is rating: KOT at 4.8 against Joyhub's 4.1. KOT also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly). Joyhub's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KOT sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Joyhub asks for nothing beyond the download.

KOT holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Joyhub has 1K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Joyhub's written reviews are positive against 50% of KOT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Joyhub ships an update monthly, KOT every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
