# Fire Captain vs Wild Road

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wild Road at 100% against Fire Captain's 26%. Wild Road also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10). Fire Captain's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (72 vs 3). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fire Captain sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Wild Road asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fire Captain holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fire Captain has 72 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of Fire Captain's written reviews are positive against 100% of Wild Road's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
