# GoLavi vs *beep*

The clearest difference is update cadence: *beep* at every 5 days against GoLavi's every 6 weeks. GoLavi's advantage is iOS requirement (14 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GoLavi sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and *beep* sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GoLavi ships an update every 6 weeks, *beep* every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
