# My diary vs DayDew

The clearest difference is rating: DayDew at 5.0 against My diary's 4.5. DayDew also leads on review sentiment (78% vs 60%). My diary's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 9) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My diary sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and DayDew sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DayDew holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My diary has 2K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 60% of My diary's written reviews are positive against 78% of DayDew's.

My diary ships an update every 9 days, DayDew every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
