# Image2Note vs App Locker

The clearest difference is update cadence: App Locker at every 3 weeks against Image2Note's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Image2Note sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and App Locker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Image2Note ships an update every 2 months, App Locker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
