# Al Shaheera vs Bakeet

Al Shaheera and Bakeet both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of Bakeet's written reviews are positive against 68% of Al Shaheera's. Bakeet also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Al Shaheera's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 80). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Al Shaheera against 4.3 for Bakeet. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Al Shaheera has 2.2K ratings behind it against 80, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 68% of Al Shaheera's written reviews are positive against 90% of Bakeet's.

Al Shaheera ships an update fortnightly, Bakeet every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
