# WDM vs Recover Deleted Messages

WDM and Recover Deleted Messages both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of WDM's written reviews are positive against 67% of Recover Deleted Messages's. WDM also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). Recover Deleted Messages's advantage is ratings volume (338 vs 7) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WDM sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Recover Deleted Messages sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for WDM against 4.3 for Recover Deleted Messages. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Recover Deleted Messages has 338 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.
