# Consensus vs Echo

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Consensus at none against Echo's 3. Consensus also leads on ads (none vs shown). Echo's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Echo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Consensus asks for nothing beyond the download.

Consensus ships an update every 2 weeks, Echo every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
