# NiceShots vs Hive

NiceShots and Hive both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of NiceShots's written reviews are positive against 79% of Hive's. NiceShots also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). Hive's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NiceShots sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Hive sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for NiceShots against 4.9 for Hive. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 31 and 39 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of NiceShots's written reviews are positive against 79% of Hive's.
