# Salhiride Driver vs RESTAR

The clearest difference is update cadence: RESTAR at every 2 weeks against Salhiride Driver's every 5 months. RESTAR also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Salhiride Driver ships an update every 5 months, RESTAR every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
