# FlixTrain Destinations vs Offset

The clearest difference is ads: Offset at none against FlixTrain Destinations's shown. Offset also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlixTrain Destinations sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Offset sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlixTrain Destinations ships an update monthly, Offset fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
