# Faxo vs Malakye

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Malakye at none against Faxo's 21. Malakye also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Faxo's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (1.8K vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Faxo sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Malakye asks for nothing beyond the download.

Malakye holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Faxo has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
