# Faxo vs Yikora

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Yikora at none against Faxo's 21. Yikora also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 81%). Faxo's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (2K vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Faxo sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Yikora asks for nothing beyond the download.

Yikora holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Faxo has 2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 81% of Faxo's written reviews are positive against 100% of Yikora's.

Faxo ships an update every 2 days, Yikora fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
