# ByteSIM eSIM vs eLink eSIM

ByteSIM eSIM and eLink eSIM both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 92% of eLink eSIM's written reviews are positive against 44% of ByteSIM eSIM's. ByteSIM eSIM's advantage is ratings volume (518 vs 13) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ByteSIM eSIM holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ByteSIM eSIM has 518 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of ByteSIM eSIM's written reviews are positive against 92% of eLink eSIM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ByteSIM eSIM ships an update weekly, eLink eSIM every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
