# Hoofing Marvellous vs Equidemia

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hoofing Marvellous at every 3 months against Equidemia's every 6 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hoofing Marvellous sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Equidemia sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hoofing Marvellous ships an update every 3 months, Equidemia every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
