# Picnic vs Delete Your Ex

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Delete Your Ex at 100% against Picnic's 63%. Delete Your Ex also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). Picnic's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 3) and chart position (#82 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Picnic sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Delete Your Ex sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Delete Your Ex holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Picnic has 10K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 63% of Picnic's written reviews are positive against 100% of Delete Your Ex's.

Picnic ships an update every 2 weeks, Delete Your Ex every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
