# Detox vs Unhook

The clearest difference is ads: Unhook at none against Detox's shown. Detox's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Detox sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Unhook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Detox ships an update every 8 days, Unhook every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 4, 2026.
