# Note vs Rotate

The clearest difference is update cadence: Rotate at every 2 weeks against Note's every 12 months. Rotate also leads on ratings volume (22 vs 1). Note's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Note against 4.9 for Rotate. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rotate has 22 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Note ships an update every 12 months, Rotate every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
