# Catchup vs Dice

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dice at every 2 days against Catchup's fortnightly. Catchup's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Catchup sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dice sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Catchup ships an update fortnightly, Dice every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
