# Molecano vs Swaplette

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Molecano at 109 against Swaplette's 2. Molecano also leads on rating (4.3 vs 4.0) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.2). Swaplette's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Molecano sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Swaplette sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Molecano holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Molecano has 109 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Molecano ships an update every 3 weeks, Swaplette every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and June 4, 2026 respectively.
