# xDesk vs RollGuard

The clearest difference is update cadence: RollGuard at every 4 days against xDesk's fortnightly. xDesk's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. xDesk sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per year and RollGuard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

xDesk ships an update fortnightly, RollGuard every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
