# Guess Mess vs Letteroll

Guess Mess and Letteroll both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 74% of Letteroll's written reviews are positive against 18% of Guess Mess's. Letteroll also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Guess Mess's advantage is ratings volume (181 vs 34). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Guess Mess sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Letteroll sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Guess Mess holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Guess Mess has 181 ratings behind it against 34, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Guess Mess's written reviews are positive against 74% of Letteroll's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Guess Mess ships an update every 3 weeks, Letteroll every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
