# DNS vs Aromashka

The clearest difference is monetization model: Aromashka at free against DNS's free with in-app purchases. Aromashka also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). DNS's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 4) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Aromashka holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DNS has 1.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 46% of DNS's written reviews are positive against 50% of Aromashka's.

DNS ships an update weekly, Aromashka every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
