# FitMate AI vs Train with Pasta

The clearest difference is update cadence: FitMate AI at every 2 days against Train with Pasta's weekly. FitMate AI also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 27.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FitMate AI sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Train with Pasta sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FitMate AI ships an update every 2 days, Train with Pasta weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
