# SuperX vs Web Extensions

The clearest difference is update cadence: Web Extensions at monthly against SuperX's every 8 months. SuperX's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and rating (4.0 vs 3.8). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SuperX sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Web Extensions sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SuperX holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 19 and 11 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of SuperX's written reviews are positive against 75% of Web Extensions's.

SuperX ships an update every 8 months, Web Extensions monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
