# Lucyd vs SideRunner

The clearest difference is update cadence: SideRunner at every 4 days against Lucyd's every 3 weeks. SideRunner also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lucyd sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and SideRunner sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lucyd ships an update every 3 weeks, SideRunner every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
