# Solitaire Sky vs Train

Solitaire Sky and Train both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Train's written reviews are positive against 39% of Solitaire Sky's. Train also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Solitaire Sky's advantage is ratings volume (4.3K vs 2) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Train holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solitaire Sky has 4.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 39% of Solitaire Sky's written reviews are positive against 100% of Train's.

Solitaire Sky ships an update every 5 days, Train every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
