# Transcribe Voice to Text+ vs SonixScript

The clearest difference is rating: Transcribe Voice to Text+ at 4.5 against SonixScript's 4.2. SonixScript's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 11%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Transcribe Voice to Text+ sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and SonixScript sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Transcribe Voice to Text+ holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 32 and 37 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of Transcribe Voice to Text+'s written reviews are positive against 33% of SonixScript's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Transcribe Voice to Text+ ships an update weekly, SonixScript fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
