# Vena ® vs VICI

The clearest difference is ads: VICI at none against Vena ®'s shown. VICI also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (9.6K vs 917). Vena ®'s advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Vena ® against 5.0 for VICI. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VICI has 9.6K ratings behind it against 917, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Vena ®'s written reviews are positive against 94% of VICI's.

Vena ® ships an update fortnightly, VICI every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
