# MYCAPTAIN vs Ferdi App

The clearest difference is ratings volume: MYCAPTAIN at 64 against Ferdi App's 2. Ferdi App's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for MYCAPTAIN against 5.0 for Ferdi App. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MYCAPTAIN has 64 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. MYCAPTAIN ships an update weekly, Ferdi App every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
