# Whisper Transcribe vs SonixScript

The clearest difference is rating: Whisper Transcribe at 4.6 against SonixScript's 4.2. Whisper Transcribe also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Whisper Transcribe holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 103 and 37 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Whisper Transcribe's written reviews are positive against 33% of SonixScript's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
