# Evive vs Decem

The clearest difference is monetization model: Evive at free against Decem's freemium. Evive also leads on ratings volume (261 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Evive sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Decem sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Decem holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Evive has 261 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 95% of Evive's written reviews are positive against 100% of Decem's.

Evive ships an update every 3 weeks, Decem every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
