# Daylist vs NoteGuru

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Daylist at 62% against NoteGuru's 0%. Daylist also leads on ratings volume (97 vs 1). NoteGuru's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daylist sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and NoteGuru sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NoteGuru holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Daylist has 97 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Daylist's written reviews are positive against 0% of NoteGuru's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Daylist ships an update fortnightly, NoteGuru every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
