# Infinity Sky vs Shovel Pirate

The clearest difference is rating: Infinity Sky at 5.0 against Shovel Pirate's 4.1. Infinity Sky also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). Shovel Pirate's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (37 vs 5). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Infinity Sky sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Shovel Pirate sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Infinity Sky holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shovel Pirate has 37 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
