# Nola Now vs Everywhere Is Queer

The clearest difference is rating: Everywhere Is Queer at 5.0 against Nola Now's 4.6. Everywhere Is Queer also leads on ratings volume (626 vs 8). Nola Now's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Everywhere Is Queer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Everywhere Is Queer has 626 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Nola Now's written reviews are positive against 95% of Everywhere Is Queer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nola Now ships an update fortnightly, Everywhere Is Queer every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
