# DocHub vs Checkr

The clearest difference is rating: DocHub at 4.8 against Checkr's 3.0. DocHub also leads on ratings volume (410 vs 2). Checkr's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DocHub sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $16.00 per month and Checkr sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DocHub holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DocHub has 410 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DocHub ships an update every 2 weeks, Checkr every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
