# Jungle Spirits vs Oustwit

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Jungle Spirits at 20 against Oustwit's 1. Jungle Spirits also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). Oustwit's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jungle Spirits sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Oustwit sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Jungle Spirits against 5.0 for Oustwit. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jungle Spirits has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Jungle Spirits ships an update every 5 weeks, Oustwit every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
