# Scribia vs VisualMind

The clearest difference is rating: VisualMind at 4.5 against Scribia's 3.6. VisualMind also leads on ratings volume (3.3K vs 8). Scribia's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and review sentiment (57% vs 23%). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VisualMind sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per 7 days. Scribia asks for nothing beyond the download.

VisualMind holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VisualMind has 3.3K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Scribia's written reviews are positive against 23% of VisualMind's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scribia ships an update weekly, VisualMind every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
